The ZF 6HP oil change kit 1071.298.027 oil change kit is suitable for use when changing transmission oil in ZF 6HP19 A 6-speed automatic transmission.

The change kit consists of a ZF 6HP19 A metal oil filter and magnet lock kit, which are needed for transmission oil change of ZF 6HP19 A automatic transmissions. Included are 7x ZF Lifeguard Fluid 8 1 L automatic transmission oil. So the scope of delivery is composed as follows:

• 1x ZF 6HP 1071.298.039 transmission oil filter
• 7x ZF Lifeguard Fluid 8 automatic transmission oil (S671 090 312) 1 L
• Magnetic lock kit

Special product for 6HP19 A in VW and Audi vehicles

The ZF 1071.298.039 oil filter included in the kit is exclusively suitable for use in ZF 6HP19 A walking automatic transmissions as installed in Volkswagen and Audi vehicles. The special feature of these ZF 6HP transmissions is that ZF Lifeguard Fluid 6 oil is not to be used as the automatic transmission oil, as is the case with all other 6HP automatic transmissions, but ZF Lifeguard Fluid 8.

The ZF 6HP19 A automatic transmission is similar to the ZF 6HP19 transmission with the difference that it is a modified version for vehicles with all-wheel drive, which can be found in the following vehicles:

According to the manufacturer, a transmission oil change on ZF automatic transmissions should be performed every 150,000 kilometers or after 8 years at the latest. Depending on driving style and individual driving profile, e.g. many trips at high speeds, shorter change intervals are advisable, as the transmission oil ages faster at high operating temperatures than under normal conditions.
